All surgical procedures will be thoroughly discussed during the consultation. It is important to note that no surgery is completely risk-free. Therefore, the recovery process after surgery, as well as potential complications, will be addressed.

Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) for Foot and Ankle

I have introduced minimally invasive surgery techniques in the North Midlands region. As the sole surgeon in the area who consistently employs MIS techniques, my focus is on treating conditions such as bunions, forefoot problems, heel issues, and foot deformities such as flat and high-arched feet. Through the use of minimally invasive surgical procedures, my aim is to minimize tissue disruption, decrease swelling, and expedite the recovery process. The positive feedback from numerous patients serves as evidence of the improved recovery experience facilitated by my techniques.

I am committed to constantly enhancing my skills. I have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to visit renowned MIS surgeons, both within the UK and internationally, which has greatly broadened my knowledge and expertise. These visits have facilitated the exchange of ideas and the integration of new techniques into my everyday practice.

Bunion Correction

Bunion correction aims to realign the big toe, relieve pain, and restore natural foot function. Modern surgical techniques are minimally invasive, allowing quicker recovery and improved comfort. If bunions are affecting your mobility or daily activities, timely correction can help prevent further joint damage.

Lesser Toes Correction

Lesser toes correction focuses on treating deformities such as hammertoes, claw toes, and mallet toes to restore proper alignment and comfort. The procedure helps reduce pain, improve balance, and prevent corns or pressure sores caused by abnormal toe positions. Using modern, minimally invasive techniques, recovery is faster and more comfortable. This treatment helps you walk with ease and regain natural foot function.

Advanced Arthroscopic Surgical techniques.

I regularly perform arthroscopic ankle fusions, which is a surgical procedure aimed at alleviating ankle arthritis. I am the sole specialist in the North Midlands region who frequently conducts advanced posterior arthroscopy of the subtalar joint and Achilles tendon area. These procedures involve making small incisions in the foot, which serve to safeguard the surrounding soft tissues while enabling substantial interventions with minimal harm to the patient's tissues.
